Intake
We confirm the reporting framework, year-end date, entities in scope, and whether lenders or a parent set a hard deadline. Independence checks happen here. You receive a draft engagement letter and a high-level document request list.
Audit process
Financial auditing at Cedar Scope follows a predictable path so controllers can staff the document room and plan plant observations without guessing what comes next.

The engagement team writes a risk assessment memorandum, selects accounts for substantive testing, and schedules inventory observation if needed. You see a fieldwork calendar before we arrive on site.
03
We test samples, send bank and receivable confirmations, walk through key processes, and keep a live query log. Daily check-ins keep open items visible to your controller.
04
Draft adjustments and management letter points are discussed before anything is finalized. After clearance, we issue the auditor’s report and archive working papers under our retention policy.
